DIY-ers Are Obsessed With Botanical Embroidery

Embroidery has been back in style for a few years now, and the latest trend that all the DIY-ers are obsessed with is botanical embroidery. Flowers and plants have been an inspiration to artists forever, so it’s not surprising that some of the best-looking embroideries have botanical elements in them.

A quick google search of the term “botanical embroidery” will give you over 16 million results, which only shows how popular it is. Many embroidery artists are sharing or selling their patterns with which you can use to create your own gorgeous embroideries. If you’re into doing it yourself but would still love to have a few to display at your home, check Etsy and buy some from talented artists.

One of those artists is Olga Prinku who has nearly 200,000 followers on Instagram. Her embroidery work is incredibly detailed and carefully crafted. “The concept of flowers on tulle embroidery was born in 2016. Surprisingly, it all began with wreaths, not embroidery. I came up with the technique by accident, through sheer experimentation with floral crowns, wreaths, and generally playing with flower styling for my Instagram feed,” she tells Architectural Digest
