This past week has been NYFW and it’s looked way different than it ever has before. Not only were there virtual shows, but we also didn’t get to see the latest street style from celebrities, models, and influencers which we look forward to seeing each year. But Vogue has chosen to put the focus back on street style by featuring their readers and followers.

The #VogueStreetChallenge started on September 15 and like the #MetGalaChallenge that took place in May, they’re asking their followers to get dressed up and pose on the streets of their neighborhoods and to post the videos or photos to Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok with the #VogueStreetChallenge. At the end of the month, Vogue’s street style photographer Phil Oh will choose his favorite looks to be featured on Vogue.com.

There aren’t any rules or dress codes, but if you’re outside and around people, remember to wear a mask. Now’s your chance to let the world see the outfits you were hoping to wear over the past few months or you can recreate your favorite street style looks from the past with things you already have in your closet. Are you ready to become a style icon?
