We’re currently forced to spend more time than ever at home. Many of us are also working from home – some people love it, others not so much. If you haven’t already, setting up a home office is crucial for productive work, even if you can’t have a separate room for an office. But if you have a balcony, there’s another thing you can do: set up your office there.
There’s no point in feeling sorry for ourselves because we can’t do many things we enjoy. It’s time to enjoy time with family and to turn your home into something you always wanted it to be. And if you’re working from home, one of the best ideas is to turn your balcony into a small, cozy office.
If there’s room, get a proper working chair outside. It will give your back all the needed support and enable you to work comfortably for hours. A nice small desk is also a must. Working on a laptop is more convenient because you can easily get it inside in case it starts raining.
Adjust the lighting on the balcony. If you have too much sunlight, use shades and curtains. Choose a night light that’s comfortable for your eyes. Don’t forget to decorate the balcony however you like it and don’t forget to take regular breaks to stretch your body!
