It’s always a true treat to see Kit Kat introduce brand-new flavors, and their latest might be the most donutlicious one yet! The Hershey Company’s beloved chocolate bar will be available in another mouth-watering new flavor this fall, inspired by chocolate frosted donuts.
According to Alex Kuzior, associate Kit Kat brand manager, they decided to launch this flavor after realizing how much their fans love bakery-inspired chocolate bars, such as Kit Kat Birthday Cake.
“The Kit Kat Chocolate Frosted Donut Flavored Bar is a sweet addition to our permanent flavor portfolio and every bite delivers upon a delightful experience, reminiscent of a freshly baked donut from your favorite hometown bakery,” said Kuzior in a press release.
This new flavor is here to stay, and its taste was supposed to mimic the experience of biting into a fresh donut with smooth milk chocolate layered delicately on top of it. It will be available in both standard and king sizes.
Kit Kat Chocolate Frosted Donut chocolate bar joins the brand’s impressive lineup of such beloved flavor combos as Mint + Dark Chocolate, Birthday Cake, and Strawberry + Dark Chocolate. Hershey’s also introduced churro-flavored Kit Kats earlier this year, but they were only a limited-edition product available throughout the summer.
