The SAG-AFTRA strike came to an end after four months, but it will take a while for Hollywood studios to recover from its impact. Several Marvel movies were postponed in the face of labor disputes in Hollywood, and we’ll have to wait a little bit longer to see these three on the big screen.

Deadpool 3

Deadpool 3 experienced several major premiere date shifts since it was first announced, and it’s now set for a July 26, 2024 release. No matter when it hits the theaters, this film will be worth the wait because it marks the return of several fan-favorite characters, starting with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Captain America: Brave New World

The release date of Captain America: Brave New World has been shifted to February 14, 2025, after Deadpool 3 took over its original release date. It will see Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson finally become Captain America after deciding he’s worthy of taking over from Steve Rodgers in the Disney+ mini-series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Thunderbolts

Thunderbolts will hit the theaters on July 25, 2025, instead of December 20, 2024, and Marvel is still keeping plot details under wraps. This villain team-up movie is expected to feature Harrison Ford as General “Thunderbolt” Ross, along with David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, and Florence Pugh.
