After a lot of anticipation, Apple finally shared iPhone 14 with the world and introduced several changes with this new and improved model. If you’re thinking of making a switch and buying a new phone, here are a few things that make it different from the previous models.

iPhone Plus

For the first time since 2017, Apple brought back the Plus moniker. The mini version won’t be available this time around, and you can choose between a regular 6.1-inch display model, and iPhone 14 Plus, which comes with a 6.7-inch display.

Camera Changes

iPhone 14 is putting a new photo processing method called Photonic Engine on the map. It’s also the first model with a front-facing camera that has autofocus, in addition to other significant improvements to both the rear and front-facing cameras.

Sim Card Changes

One change that left people divided is the removal of the discreet physical SIM card tray. Instead of transferring your SIM card to a new device, you’ll have to fully embrace eSIM technology.

Crash Detection

iPhone’s car crash detection system also created a lot of buzz, and it allows your phone to detect a severe car crash and immediately call emergency services when you’re unable to do it yourself.
