Olivia Palermo is one of Instagram’s top fashion influencers, so it doesn’t come as a surprise she came up with a way to put a twist on face masks. She’s staying safe by wearing a mask everywhere she goes, but she also decided to add chic scarves to the mix.
Scarves were used as a popular alternative to face masks several months ago, but Palermo is not letting go of them. Trendy face masks are much easier to find right now, but the famous fashion influencer is still wearing scarves every time she leaves her home.
Don’t let this trick you into thinking that Palermo completely ditched face masks—she’s actually wearing both. She even shared a tutorial for wearing this combo in her Instagram stories and recommended using a mask that covers your nose and mouth in order to protect others and yourself.
Palermo also recommended using a square scarf, folding it in half diagonally, tying it tightly in a knot, and wearing it with sunglasses to keep it from falling. This combo certainly works for her since she obviously has an extensive collection of scarves, and always manages to find the perfect one for each outfit.
