Subway is Adding Footlong Cookies to Their Permanent Menu

Footlong sandwiches are the first thing most people think of when someone mentions Subway, but their cookies are equally delicious. The fans of this fast-food chain have been asking for footlong cookies for years, and their prayers have finally been answered!

Subway celebrated National Cookie Day, December 4, by handing out free footlong cookies with the purchase of a footlong sub in select locations in Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and New York City—and that was just the beginning! The supersized 12-inch cookies will be added to their permanent menu next year.

Paul Fabre, senior vice president of culinary and innovation at Subway, said they decided to make the footlong cookie a permanent addition to our menu after seeing the overwhelming response they received from fans last year.

“Our guests will get a sneak peek of an even better footlong cookie: thick, gooey, packed with chocolate chips, and served warm – right out of the oven. It’s the perfect pairing with your favorite footlong sub and may even become your favorite footlong after the first bite,” said Fabre in a press release.

Subway is celebrating the launch of their footlong cookies all month long, and the portion of the proceeds of every cookie sold through December 31, 2023, will support the Subway Cares Foundation.
