]]>Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, movie experts have been debating which movie will save the theaters, and it seems like the horror genre is doing the trick. Nothing compares to the experience of seeing a scary movie on the big screen, and these three films are proving to be a huge hit with moviegoers right now.
The highly-anticipated sequel to A Quiet Place had a tough competition in Cruella this weekend, but that didn’t stop it from soaring to the top of the box office. Members of the Abbott family continue their journey through the silent world, so dare not scream as you watch them fight for survival against monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing.
Despite many negative reviews, the lack of real competition made it possible for the latest film in the Saw series to top the box office when it came out. It stars Chris Rock, who tries to give the horror genre a shot in the role of a brash detective trying to solve a gruesome crime, reminiscent of the murders of Jigsaw Killer.
The third film in the Conjuring series is coming to the theaters and HBO Max at the same time and it shows the Warrens investigating another mysterious murder. The previous two movies did pretty great on the box office, so it’s safe to expect the audience will show up for a new chapter.

]]>2020 has just begun and there are many films that we can’t wait to see this year. While there are a lot of originals that we’re interested in seeing, we’re most excited about the sequels. These are the ones that we have already marked in our calendar.
After watching the trailer for the John Krasinski and Emily Blunt horror-thriller, are expectations are high for the sequel to A Quiet Place. Even though Krasinski won’t be returning, we’ll still get to see the fate of the Abbot family and if they can survive without making a sound. The sequel will hit theatres on March 20.
Elle Woods is not only a fashion icon, but she was also a feminist before it became a huge movement. Reese Witherspoon has confirmed that a sequel is in the works and Legally Blonde 3 was supposed to be released on Valentine’s Day. Although we haven’t heard any further news on the release, we’re can’t wait to see what Elle’s been up to.
Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman set several box office records and it went on to become the fifth highest-grossing superhero film worldwide. In the sequel which will be released on June 5, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) returns to fight Cheetah (Kristen Wig).
