With 227,000 album-equivalent units earned during its debut week, Eternal Sunshine scored the largest week for an album in 2024, surpassing Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 1.

Largest Vinyl Week

Eternal Sunshine earned 33,000 album-equivalent units from vinyl sales alone after Grande decided to release six different vinyl editions, scoring the largest vinyl sales week of her career.

Simultaneous No. 1

In addition to topping the Billboard 200 chart with Eternal Sunshine, Grande also hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart with her latest single “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”. This marks the first time she simultaneously debuted at the top of both charts.

Most No. 1 Debuts Among Women

“We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” is Grande’s seventh single to debut atop the Hot 100 chart, helping her break Taylor Swift’s record for most No. 1 debuts among women.

Top 10 Streak

Eternal Sunshine also continued Grande’s unprecedented top 10 streak on the Hot 100 chart. Its lead single “Yes, And?” debuted at No. 1, making Grande the only artist to debut the first single from each of her albums in the top 10.
