Plot Details
Nolan’s next project will follow in the footsteps of Dunkirk and it will also be set during World War II. It will be inspired by the life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, often described as “the father of the atomic bomb”.
Leading Man
Nolan is yet to start casting actors in this promising project, but Cillian Murphy has been mentioned as the potential leading man. His casting is yet to be confirmed, but it makes total sense since he’s one of Nolan’s frequent collaborators, who previously starred in the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, and Dunkirk.
New Studio
Nolan’s upcoming WWII biopic will mark a significant departure from his previous projects because it will see him cutting ties with Warner Bros. After the dispute with this studio, he decided to join forces with Universal Pictures. They reportedly promised him a production budget of around $100 million, total creative control, 20% of first-dollar gross, and a 100-day theatrical window.
