That’s why Brad Mondo—the internet’s favorite hair stylist—has released a new video teaching you how to give yourself a shag haircut without ruining your hair.
Key tips and tricks include putting your hair into a brushed-out high ponytail, cutting layers while your hair is in the ponytail, putting your hair back down, sectioning it, overdirecting it forward, and cutting more layers around the face, almost like a curtain bang. Though, beware, even Brad Mondo himself will warn you that this isn’t exactly a beginner’s haircut, so try it at your own risk.
