If you’re a fan of Kanye West, rap music, or music in general, you’ve probably been waiting around for a while wondering when West would release his new album “Donda.” Teased for five weeks now with four official public listening sessions and promised release date after promised release date, “Donda” changed dramatically over the course of its various listening events, such that nobody knew exactly what to expect from the album and much speculation and controversy was stirred.

Well, the album is finally out, having been released to streaming services on Sunday morning, along with a press release from West’s label, Def Jam. The album is nearly two hours long and includes 26 tracks with features from a menagerie of artists including The Weekend, Lil Baby, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, Jay Electronica, Playboi Carti, Baby Keem, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Pop Smoke, Jadakiss, and Jay-Z.

While it may have been preceded by what has been called by music fan /u/thenightmonster86 on Reddit “one of the most bizarre album rollouts I’ve ever witness[ed],” Donda is receiving a generally positive response from fans, with another fan, /u/seriouslyokay writing “quite a lot of tracks in this album are fantastic” and /u/burnthebankers writing “Ok, it is ****ing great. Didn’t expect that but **** am I happy.”

Kanye West has been in the news a lot lately and it’s not related to his separation from Kim Kardashian or his relationship status—rumors are circulating about his new album. And it may be coming sooner than you think. So what’s all the hype about?

According to internet star Justin Laboy, the rapper held an exclusive listening party for the record in Las Vegas over the weekend for him and basketball star Kevin Durant. “Kanye played his new album for me & @KDTrey5 last night in Vegas. Man listen! The production is light years ahead of its time, and the bars sound like he’s broke & hungry trying to get signed again. Any artist who plan on dropping soon should just push it back,” the tweet reads.

In another tweet, Laboy reported that the album is complete and will drop this week.

Last year, Kanye told fans a new album was expected July 24. But the announcement was then followed by erratic tweets about the Kardashians, causing fans to question the reality of the album’s release.

West’s label Def Jam announced a listening session for the forthcoming album Donda on Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. In the past, the rapper has held similar events the day before his albums dropped.

The already popular daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just appeared on the cover of WWD. For their special edition of Beauty Inc, the magazine featured North West, an icon in the making. The first child of the two moguls is now five years old, but seems to be a huge obsession for the public.

You can see Northie rocking a very bold neon eyeliner, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips, and sleek ponytails by Chris Appleton. The young star wears the coolest, most vibrant outfits. According to mom Kim, North is very much into fashion, makeup, and really enjoys putting together her own looks.

This is the first solo cover for North West. The five year old appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar with her father Kanye and brother Saint. She also starred in a Fendi campaign together with Kim and grandmother Kris Jenner. Back in September, the young celebrity even walked her first fashion show. It was for a kids’ toy brand L.O.L. Surprise.

North is featured as the representative of a brand new generation called Alpha. It comes right after Gen Z, the one you’ve been reading all about in the past year.
