]]>Billie Eilish is currently gearing up for the release of her sophomore album and has just released her newest single from the cycle, “Lost Cause.” Along with the single, Billie also dropped a new music video for the song, and fans are definitely having strong reactions to it.
The song sees Billie singing to a former lover that she was wrong about them when she thought they had their s**t together when really they’re just a lost cause with no job. However, the somber quality of the music and its message are contrasted with the high-energy music video in which Billie and a large group of friends hang out, sing, dance, and eat snacks, reminiscent of your classic high school sleepover.
Music fans with a keen eye didn’t take long to start comparing Billie’s new video to another one set inside a large mansion in which friends dance and twerk to a song. Any guesses? We’re talking about “7/11” from the platinum edition of Beyonce’s self-titled album that broke the internet in 2014.
So check out both of the videos … What do you say? Do you think that Billie was inspired by Beyonce when she created her new “Lost Cause” video?

]]>Since the foursome Little Mix turned into a threesome after the departure of former member Jesy Nelson, much of the world waited with bated breath to see what their next move would be. And after several weeks of teasing, we found out when, on April 30th, Little Mix released a remix of the title single from their newest album Confetti.
Except this time, it was re-recorded with vocals only from the three remaining members of the group: Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. And there was an added guest feature by up-and-coming California rapper Saweetie.
In addition to releasing the single, Little Mix also dropped a music video for the new “Confetti” remix and it’s an absolute must-see. Featuring drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2 and the Little Mix girls themselves in male drag, it’s fun and hysterical.
And don’t click it out of the video before it’s over; if you watch to the end you’ll catch the girls goofing around in drag, clearly having the time of their lives. Now Little Mix fans know that they don’t have to worry. Even with Jesy gone, the band is still going strong, just as fierce and funny as ever.

]]>We can’t discuss the latest trends in music and not mention South Korean bands like BTS and Blackpink who are on their way to conquering the West. Bands like these have always had a big fanbase, but they recently started doing their songs in English, gaining even more fans all over the world.
On August 27th, Blackpink and Selena Gomez premiered their new song called “Ice Cream” after weeks of teasing fans. The song is catchy, has an upbeat vibe, and the video is a treat for anyone into retro style.
Once you watch the video and the song gets in your ear, you won’t be able to stop yourself from humming it all day long! We loved watching the video on repeat and catching all the amazing retro outfits the girls wore. And just look at those ‘80s accessories like the see-through phone Gomez is using—they are giving us major nostalgic vibes.
“Throughout the music video we tried to have each look suit that entire set, and we especially focused on wearing bright colors that suit the overall vibe of the music and concept,” Blackpink told CNN Style. “We really wanted to portray that fun, bright, summer energy through our outfits, and we hope this message went through to our fans.”

Parx is Ari’s frequent collaborator and an aspiring musician who also worked with the likes of Janelle Monáe, Panic! At The Disco and Demi Lovato.
Njomza is also an aspiring singer-songwriter, who happens to be the first person to suggest their crazy day at Tiffany’s should be turned into a song.
Luria is a travel enthusiast and influencer and one of Grande’s closest childhood friends.
Monét is a successful singer in her own right, but she wrote songs for numerous famous artists in the past. Ari just happens to be one of her most frequent collaborators, and the list of their joint credits include “7 Rings” and “Thank U, Next”.
Chipolone is one of Ari’s closest friends, and the young singer loves her so much that she even tattooed her name on her knee.
Kaydence is another of Ari’s friends from the industry, who became a part of her inner circle while they worked on her hit album Sweetener.

]]>Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next is the most talked-about music video right now – and for a good reason. It’s a love letter to classic rom-coms that her generation grew up watching, and we’re bringing you the most glorious references from this epic clip.
Grande channeled her inner-Regina George with this amazing visual and revealed some juicy details of her past relationship in her own Burn Book.
You can’t make a music video inspired by teen rom-coms without adding a couple of cheerleaders in the mix.
Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo were head over heels after seeing their movie from 2004 made the cut – and so were we!
We would definitely be on board with a remake of this rom-com with Ari as Elle Woods. Plus, Jennifer Coolidge is always game to recreate that iconic “bend and snap” sequence.
Grande’s ties to her Victorious co-stars are still pretty strong. Both Matt Bennet and Elizabeth Gillie both accepted her invitation to appear in Thank U, Next video.
We would love seeing Amy Poehler make a cameo in this epic clip, but having Kris Jenner play the role of “cool mom” is the next best thing.
