After unveiling their latest Nook tablet a few weeks ago, the Nook 10.1″, Barnes & Noble are releasing a few useful accessories that are something new from this brand. For the first time, the Nook tablet will have a matching charging dock (retails for $34.95) and a keyboard (priced at $39.95). The tablet itself costs $129.99.

In the absence of official accessories, the Nook users have been using third-party docks and changers for years. The charger and keyboard can be handy for the many uses the Nook has. Besides reading, it offers a pleasant experience of watching movies, making video calls, downloading apps from the Google Play Store and listening to audiobooks. It runs on Android OS and has all the functions of a proper tablet, so accessories like this can only make it more useful.

Attaching the keyboard practically turns it into a laptop for a fraction of the cost of an actual laptop. It can fit into any bag or even a bigger pocket and whip it out whenever you need to get some work done or have some fun.

Our Twitter Party to celebrate the new NOOK Tablet 10.1" is all wrapped up. Thank you to everyone who joined! #NewNOOK #BNTheKnow pic.twitter.com/lmiIw9FG6t
