Maestro (Netflix)
Bradley Cooper’s latest film chronicles the life of the famed composer Leonard Bernstein, and it became available on Netflix after a short theatrical run.
The Holdovers (Peacock)
The Holdovers chronicles the journey of a cranky teacher forced to stay on campus with a troubled student and a grieving cook over the holiday break, and you can watch it on Peacock.
Oppenheimer (Peacock)
Christopher Nolan’s epic about the making of the atomic bomb is coming into this year’s Academy Awards with 13 nominations. It will be available on Peacock from February 16, but you can already rent it on other platforms, including Amazon, Apple TV, and Google Play.

]]>Internet Movie Database, aka IMDb, is usually the first place we go to when looking for info about our favorite movies and TV shows. Their annual top 10 lists offer a great insight into what was in and what was out all year long, and they finally announced the most popular stars, movies, and series of 2023.
According to IMDb’s official statement, their list of the top ten stars is based on who “consistently ranked the highest on IMDbPro’s weekly STARmeter chart throughout the year, with rankings based on actual page views.” Pedro Pascal hit No. 1 after starring in The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, two of the most popular shows of the year.
When it comes to movie rankings, the Barbenheimer phenomenon had a significant impact on IMDb users. Oppenheimer took the No. 1 spot, right ahead of Barbie at No. 2, and their stars Cillian Murphy and Margot Robbie both made it to the list of the top 10 stars.
HBO’s video game adaptation The Last Of Us topped the list of the most popular shows. Two Star Wars series made it to the top five— Ahsoka and The Mandalorian—along with the final season of HBO’s Succession and the new chapter of Netflix’s Black Mirror.

]]>Barbie and Oppenheimer are two of the summer’s most anticipated movies, and the fact that they share the same release date has sent the internet into a tizzy. Barbie vs. Oppenheimer memes are taking the world by storm, hilariously poking fun at a stark contrast between these two highly-anticipated projects.
The Barbie vs. Oppenheimer debate has been brewing for months, and this conversation emerged as soon as it was announced both films would premiere on July 21. As that date approaches, Barbenheimer memes are blowing up all over social media and we can’t get enough of them.
In terms of tone, plot, and production design, Barbie and Oppenheimer couldn’t be any more different from each other. Greta Gerwig’s Barbie shows our favorite doll having a full-on existential crisis and leaving Barbie Land behind, while Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer tells the tale of American scientist J.
