]]>Do you remember hot chocolate bombs? Last winter they were TikTok’s hottest food craze and this year, they’ve gotten the ultimate seasonal upgrade—pumpkin spice hot chocolate bombs. It’s officially Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) season, so what better way to celebrate than with pumpkin spice hot chocolate bombs?
Hot chocolate bombs have gotten a fall upgrade. Like hot chocolate bombs, pumpkin spice ones are super easy to make—all you need is to fill a baking mold with chocolate and then put it into the freezer to harden. After it’s hardened, fill it with whatever treats you like like marshmallows, candy corn, cocoa mix, chocolate chips, Reese’s pieces, or chocolate chips, and then secure the bomb with melted chocolate.
For a seasonal take, look for pumpkin, witch, ghosts, or any other spooky molds and use white chocolate covered with orange food coloring.
Don’t worry—if that sounds like a lot, there are tons of pre-made ones on Amazon, Etsy, and at Target. The premade ones are flavored with pumpkin spice, mini marshmallows, and hot cocoa mix. While we haven’t tried it yet, we’re sure it tastes like cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, and pumpkin.
We can’t wait for this new fall take on the trendy hot chocolate bomb.
