Kendrick Lamar’s fans spent five years waiting for his latest studio album, so it’s not a surprise to see it soar to No. 1. This record took things to a whole new level by scoring the largest week for an album released in 2022.
Future never had any trouble topping the Billboard 200 chart and he did it for the eighth time with I Never Liked You. This album reunited the rapper with many of his long-time collaborators such as Drake, Kanye West, Gunna, Young Thug, and Kodak Black.
Pusha T’s latest studio effort featured A-list collaborations with the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, and Labrinth and its chart triumph was easy to predict.
Seeing Tyler, the Creator score No. 1 with Call Me If You Get Lost this April was somewhat of an anomaly for the Billboard 200 chart, but it’s easy to explain. The album was originally released in June last year, but its vinyl release pushed it back to No. 1.
