]]>Selena Gomez’s highly-anticipated brand Rare Beauty is finally launching next month, and here’s everything you should know about it before it hits the shelves.
Rare Beauty is officially launching on September 3rd. In addition to being available online, it will also launch at Sephora’s stores in North America, before going global next year.
We’re still waiting for Gomez to unveil individual products, but the first drop is expected to feature concealers, lipsticks, eyeshadows, and foundations in 48 different shades.
Gomez also revealed her brand will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free because it’s very important for her that everyone feels safe while wearing it.
The “Same Old Love” singer wants to make people feel comfortable while wearing Rare Beauty products, and the brand’s main mission is to “promote self-acceptance and give people the tools they need to feel less alone in the world.”
Gomez doesn’t want Rare Beauty to be just a brand, but a community of people lifting each other up. That’s why 1% of sales will go towards the Rare Impact Fund, and the singer is hoping to raise $100 million for mental health services over the next 10 years.
