In a new movie that comes on October 5th, A Star is Born, we’ll see Lady Gaga starring as a talented singer-songwriter Ally. It tells the story of Ally and her mentor/lover Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper, who also directed the movie). Maine’s career is going downwards, but he’s still devoted to helping Ally establish her name in the music industry.

This is the third remake of the 1937 film of the same name. Before Gaga, the main role went to legendary Judy Garland (1954) and Barbra Streisand (1976), and the latest choice seems rather obvious.
