]]>Kim Kardashian’s brand SKIMS broke the internet with several of their new collections this fall, and their latest is the most dazzling one yet. The shapewear brand put a blingy twist on their most popular designs with their latest Swarovski collaboration.
This limited-edition collection is the best of both worlds, and it does a great job fusing Swarovski’s iconic opulent crystals with SKIMS innovative silhouettes. In addition to crystallized intimates, bodysuits, and dresses, the new drop also includes matching chokers, necklaces, and bracelets that you can pair with SKIMS’ garments.
Giovanna Engelbert, creative director of Swarovski, said she’s been dreaming about partnering up with SKIMS ever since she joined this brand. She described this collection as “a celebration of the body, and of strong, independent women who value their individuality and embrace life with confidence and style.”
Kardashian echoed her statement and said they “really wanted to celebrate individual creativity and bring more glamour into getting dressed every day” with this new line. She added that she loved putting a dreamy twist on her favorite SKIMS pieces by integrating the iconic crystal cuts into them.

]]>Nothing sums up ’00s fashion like velour tracksuits and no celebrity loved them quite as much as Paris Hilton. During the ’00s, Paris along with her friend Kim Kardashian were often photographed in Los Angeles wearing Juicy Couture tracksuits. Like all good things, the two pals have revived the trend in Kardashian West’s latest SKIMS release.
The new collection launches October 21 and features several of the classic velour silhouettes with hoodies, wide-leg pants, and joggers, as well as some new additions like bandeau tops and crew neck tanks. The color palette has been modernized to 2020 with neutrals and the collection goes from a size XXS to 4X.
Kardashian was very excited to blend a classic with somethign more modern. “After working on [this] for over a year, I am so excited to share with everyone,” she shared with Vogue via email. “Velour is one of my favorite collection launches to date! It’s the perfect blend of 2000s nostalgia and present-day loungewear.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also said that she’s been wearing velour tracksuits for the past 20 years and that the collection is “versatile, comfortable, ultra-luxe, and fun.”
To announce the collection, the pair released some paparazzi-style photos and posed with their Louis Vuitton Monogram Miroir Alma bags that could easily be mistaken for photos from 2006. Hilton raved about how much fun she had shooting the photos and added, “The collection is very nostalgic with an early 2000s vibe—which we both know very well.”
