Huawei has announced a new, foldable smartphone that will come with a steep price tag, but with no Google apps, which makes it pretty much useless for customers in Europe and the U.S. It’s aimed towards customers in China, and it will cost around $2,700 once it’s released.

Huawei Mate Xs comes with numerous innovative features. It’s similar to their Mate X model, which also never made it out of China.

The new Xs will come with a folding display that measures 8 inches when unfolded and 6.6 inches when folded. The 4,500mAh battery is enough to support the strong processor and new cameras will give the users an opportunity to take amazing photos with their foldable pocket device.

Unfortunately, the Mate Xs won’t come with Google apps, which is why we mentioned it will only be popular in China. The main out of its four cameras is a 40-megapixel lens, and the remaining three are a 16-MP wide-angle sensor, an 8-MP telephoto camera, and a 3D camera. Dark mode has been one of the most requested Instagram features and, finally, it’s here. Instagram enabled the feature for both Android and iOS last week, and if you’re unsure how to get it for your phone, keep reading.

First of all, you should know that dark mode is not available for older OS versions, at least for now. You need to have a phone running on iOS 13 or Android 10 in order to enable it. These operating systems give you an option to turn on dark mode for the whole phone, and if you do that, it automatically applies to the Instagram app as well. 

To enable dark mode on your iPhone, go to your Settings app, choose Display & Brightness, and tap the Dark button. To do it on an Android phone, go to Settings, tap Display, and enable the Dark theme button.

The dark mode is a useful feature that makes using any app easier on your eyes, especially when you’re using your phone in the dark. We must admit that it actually looks pretty elegant on Instagram!
