“Spider-Man crosses parallel dimensions and teams up with the Spider-Men of those dimensions to stop a threat to all reality,” is what the official plot for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse reads. In the new animated adventure, we’ll meet Miles Morales – the Spider-Man from another universe.

Spider-Gwen, another alternate-universe take on the character, also makes a brief appearance in the new animated movie.

What the trailer clearly shows is beautifully done artwork. It gives the vibe of something between the vintage comic books and Pixar-style animation.
