]]>Now that Christmas is officially over and we’re already in January, the bleak winter months lie ahead. Fortunately, spring will soon be popping up its hopeful head and with it will come a new season of fabulous new trends. Here’s the lowdown.
Leather is daring and metallic is bold but together, the result is electric. From trousers to handbags, metallic leather was spotted all over the SS20 catwalk.
In 2020, we will no longer be hiding our bra straps. SS20 saw a host of accentuated sequined undies and underwear as outerwear.
If you thought that puffed sleeves made a comeback this year, you ain’t seen nothing yet. 2020 will be the year of major puffed sleeve revival. And there’s only one rule: bigger is better.
Trench coats have been traditionally androgynous and that’s part of the reason they are so attractive. SS20 saw an influx of more modern, feminine trench options and we’ll certainly be seeing more in Spring 2020.
Layering is what’s keeping us warm in winter but in spring, layering sheer fabrics will be our style staple.
