While pearls and shells will still be trendy, this season is all about sculptural designs, natural materials, and geometric shapes. Here are the looks we’re most excited for!

Textured Initial Necklaces

Initial pendants are nothing we haven’t seen before, but this year it’s all about textured and hammered metals. You can get the Net-A-Porter one straight from the runway or opt for a less expensive one, which will be all over high-street stores.

Who doesn’t love an accessory that brings them back to their summer camp days? These ones are a bit of an upgrade with beads and pearls or brand logos.

Inspired by a story you won’t find in art history books, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott designed a new collection for Spring/Summer 2020 that pays homage to one of the greatest 20th century artists, Pablo Picasso.

Scott recently learned about the story of Picasso allegedly stealing the Mona Lisa painting from the Louvre in 1911, a crime for which one of his friends was also accused sometime later. In the end, it turned out that the real criminal behind this theft was a Louvre employee at the time and the story never got into official art history books.

Scott, however, wanted to devote the whole collection to it, including the designs and the runway scenery.

He designed a whole collection of colorful clothes and accessories that clearly remind us of Picasso’s style, but then he went a step further and designed the scenery to fit the story.

The star of the show was a big golden frame, very similar to the one that currently holds the Mona Lisa painting in the famous French museum. See more photos of the collection below.
