The NFL announced Usher’s involvement with a series of cheeky videos, also starring Kim Kardashian, Deion Sanders, Marshawn Lynch, and Odell Beckham Jr. He also did an interview with Apple Music and released an official statement, describing his headlining spot as “an honor of a lifetime.”
Potential Setlist & Guests
Usher’s setlist won’t be unveiled until the Super Bowl, but it’s safe to expect it would include his biggest hits. Usher gave us nine No. 1 singles over the years, including “Nice & Slow”, “U Remind Me”, “Yeah!”, “Burn”, “Love in This Club”, and “OMG”.
He also collaborated with everyone from Ludacris and will.i.am to Alicia Keys and Lil Wayne, in addition to helping Justin Bieber get a head-start in the music industry, so the list of his potential Super Bowl guests is pretty long.

Super Bowl LVII gave us an epic showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, and the winner was difficult to call until the very last moment. The Chiefs eventually managed to score a 38-35 win, while Patrick Mahomes became the first quarterback since 1999 to win the Super Bowl and the NFL MVP in the same year.

The Super Bowl bosses announced that the spotlight at the upcoming game will be split five ways—between Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. The show’s main sponsor Pepsi is promising “an epic, unforgettable celebration of the impact hip-hop has today”, and opting for this theme is a pretty great idea.
Super Bowl LVI will take place in the Los Angeles area for the first time in three decades, so it makes sense to pick some of the artists responsible for the West Coast hip-hop revolution as headliners. Kendrick Lamar hails from a different generation, but he grew up in Compton, in the heart of California’s rap scene.
Another thing that these five artists have in common is their critical acclaim. They have 43 Grammys and 22 no. 1 albums between them, and this will be the first time they hit the stage together. We can’t wait to see how their joint set will look like when Super Bowl returns to California on February 13th, 2022.

]]>We knew we’re in for a treat as soon as The Weeknd was announced as the headliner of this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. His performance was everything we expected and it gave us a couple of epic and meme-worthy moments.
Even when the big game is more eventful than this year’s, musical performances tend to steal the show at the Super Bowl, and that happened once again. The Weeknd’s performance was somewhat unconventional because he didn’t rely on flashy spectacle and supporting acts, but it had something in common with other halftime shows of the past—the avalanche of memes it inspired.
The majority of viral memes were inspired by close-up shots of The Weeknd’s dazed and confused look while he was singing “Can’t Feel My Face”. The Canadian star can be seen looking bewildered as he stumbles through a brightly lit corridor in a red sequined jacket.
Many of the viewers found the chaotic moment extremely relatable and quickly turned it into a meme. The confused look on The Weeknd’s face perfectly captured the way we all felt when we lost a sense of direction, and it gave us countless hilarious memes to laugh at on Super Bowl Sunday.
