Alice Wu’s coming-of-age drama centers on a lonely high school student, Ellie Chu, who makes extra money writing papers for her classmates. Her life turns upside down when an inarticulate jock asks her to write a love letter for a popular student, who just happens to be her crush.
Set It Up
Set It Up is another compelling Netflix rom-com that left us craving for more after the credits rolled. Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell had amazing chemistry as two frustrated assistants trying to play match-makers for their demanding bosses.
Always Be My Maybe
Always Be My Maybe centers on childhood friends Sasha and Marcus, who fell out of touch and finally reconnected almost two decades later. Director Nahnatchka Khan even joked it would be fun to do a sequel titled Always Be My Baby, which shows the two main characters starting a family.
