]]>If you take a closer look at all the songs that topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart this fall, you’ll notice a familiar pattern. All the tracks that reached no. 1 in the past few weeks saw two or more artists joining forces, and that’s the case with these three chart-topping singles.
If we had to pick a single song that’s been dominating Billboard Hot 100 in the past few months, it would definitely be this one. The Kid Laroi’s collaboration with his idol Justin Bieber managed to stay on top for seven weeks, becoming one of the longest-running no. 1 singles of the year.
“Industry Baby” debuted at no. 2 when it originally came out back in July, and its climb to the top was a joy to watch. Its surge to no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 was pushed by the release of two new versions, one with an alternative digital single cover and an extended mix.
Drake broke the record for the highest number of top-10 singles from one album making it to the Billboard Hot 100, but only one could reach the top. “Way 2 Sexy” put his new LP Certified Lover Boy on the map, and it became his latest collaboration to hit no. 1.

Even before it officially hit the shelves, Planet Her already produced one hit single—”Kiss Me More” featuring SZA. This catchy bop is one of the defining songs of summer 2021, and it peaked at no. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
It was just a matter of time before Doja Cat and The Weeknd joined forces again after collaborating on the remix of his hit single “In Your Eyes”. The success of “You Right” proved to the world they are truly a match made in heaven.
Ariana Grande is another artist that perfectly matches Doja Cat’s energy and “I Don’t Do Drugs” is their third collaboration following “Motive” and “34+35 (Remix)” with Megan Thee Stallion.
In addition to featuring several familiar faces, Planet Her saw Doja Cat collaborating with several artists she never worked with before, including Young Thug.
