3 Drinks All Hosts Should Master

The holiday season is just around the corner, don’t worry we’re so close! If you’re anything like us, you’re looking forward to all the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year parties. Having delicious food and drinks is an important part of nailing the perfect holiday party!

Cosmopolitan revealed that part of being a great host is knowing how to make three different types of drinks: a sweet one, a non-alcoholic one, and a cocktail.

Mai Tai

This drink is guaranteed to remind you of that girl’s trip you took over the summer with your besties. It’s sweet and refreshing; it happens to be a crowd favorite. It’s simple to make, you need 1 1/2 oz White rum, 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice, 1/2 oz Orange Curacao, 1/2 oz Orgeat syrup, and 3/4 oz Dark rum. Make the drink Instagram worthy by topping it off with fresh pineapple and a maraschino cherry.

Gimlet

Don’t worry, this drink only looks fancy; the ingredients are so simple. Think of it as an update on a gin and tonic. Add an ice sphere into the glass to impress your guests and 2 1/2 oz Gin, 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice, and 1/2 oz Simple syrup. Try topping it with an edible flower or gold leaf.

Pink Lemonade

Who doesn’t love pink lemonade? You should always have a non-alcoholic beverage available for your friends or family who don’t drink alcohol and this one happens to be so tasty! You only need four ingredients: 1 cup white sugar, 6 cups water, 1 cup fresh lemon, and 1/2 cup cranberry juice.
