October is the spookiest month of the year, so it’s not a surprise it’s bringing many highly-anticipated horror films our way. There’s no better time than now to head to the theatres and check out some of the spookiest movies this October has in store, starting with these three.
Hellraiser
You don’t actually have to go to theatres to check out the new version of the iconic horror Hellraiser because it’s available for streaming on Hulu. This modern-day remake centers on a young woman struggling with addiction, who comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, completely unaware of its sinister true purpose.
Halloween Ends
The Halloween franchise made an epic comeback with the 2018 film, which marked the return of its biggest star Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode. Halloween Kills continued her story, and Halloween Ends will serve as a conclusion, showing Laurie comforting Michael Myers’ evil once and for all.
Smile
If you want to take a break from sequels and remakes and immerse into a fresh new horror, Smile could be your cup of tea. It stars Sosie Bacon as Dr. Rose Cotter, a psychiatrist who starts experiencing frightening occurrences after witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving one of her patients.
