Directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by James Cameron, Alita: Battle Angel is the new adaptation of the Yukito Kishiro manga series of the same name. The movie tells the story of a discarded cyborg and a doctor who restores her. Alita is played by Rosa Salazar (Maze Runner).
The manga came out in 1990. The movie that’s finally about to be released this year has been in the works (kind of) since 1999.
