Taking care of your hair while social distancing is no easy feat, and we all approach it in different ways. Some people are simply waiting for salons to re-open, while others are taking things into their own hands and cutting all of their hair off.

Buzzcuts are suddenly emerging as the trendiest hairstyle of the quarantine season, and it’s not that difficult to see why people are crazy about them. They’re low- maintenance, easy to pull off, and if you make a mistake – no one’s going to see you in a while anyway.

People are getting buzzcuts from all sorts of different reasons, both aesthetical and psychological. Some are doing it because it’s easier to deal with your hair this way, others are simply bored and want to try something new while social distancing.

Another advantage of buzzcuts is that you don’t have to be a pro to pull this haircut off. A decent set of clippers is quite enough, and they’re pretty easy to use. The experts recommend starting things off with longer guards since you can easily go shorter if you decide to.
