Many influencers lead picture-perfect lives that are out of reach for most of us, but what if we told you some of them aren’t even real people? CGI-created virtual influencers are changing social media marketing as we know it, and here are a few you should know about.

Miquela

Miquela was created by LA-based firm Brud in 2016 and went on to become the most popular CGI influencer on Instagram. She’s constantly promoting luxury brands on her page, and she even recorded several songs and took part in high-profile fashion campaigns.

Blawko

Blawko is another virtual star created by Brud, best known for his streetwear style, face tattoos, and a mask that he never takes off.

Bermuda

Bermuda is best known for her love of music and all things pink. When Brud first launched this CGI character, they manufactured a dramatic feud between Miquela and her, but they seem to be BFFs these days.

Shudu

Shudu is one of the virtual models created by The Diigitals Agency, and she’s been described as the world’s first digital supermodel. She even modeled for Fenty Beauty and Balmain, and often shares photos with other digital models on her Instagram page.
