We bet you’ve heard of Elf on the Shelf, the adorable doll that causes trouble around Christmas time, but what about Peep on a Perch? Peep on a Perch is the Easter version and it’s much sweeter and cuter. The book and plush toy are taking social media by storm and they’re bound to become a holiday tradition. So what’s it all about?

Peep on a Perch like Elf on the Shelf is a way for parents to model good behavior to kids. Each day leading up to Easter, parents move the plush yellow Peep around the house so kids can find new hiding places.

The boxed set comes with a storybook by Andrea Posner-Sanchez and a Peeps plush that looks just like the classic Easter treat. The book tells the story of the Easter Peep who helps the Easter Bunny prepare for the holiday by decorating eggs, filling Easter baskets, and making sure kids are behaving nicely.

You can buy the Peep on a Perch on Amazon for $17.42. Keep in mind that the candy version of Peeps isn’t included in the set, but you can grab some at pretty much any grocery or convenience store for around $2.
