We can always count on Hollywood royalty to dazzle us with their fashion choices at the Met Gala, and they certainly delivered this year. “The Garden of Time” was chosen as this year’s dress code, and it inspired some pretty amazing red carpet trends, starting with these five.

Flower Power

As soon as the Met Gala dress code was announced, it was easy to predict that floral looks would rule the red carpet. Zendaya embraced this trend with two spectacular looks, but Gigi Hadid, Sydney Sweeney, Kerry Washington, and Nicki Minaj were right behind.

Sands of Time

Beige was one of the most surprising colors ruling this year’s Met Gala. Tyla’s hourglass dress looked like it was made of sand, but we’ve also seen Mindy Kaling and Pamela Anderson hit the red carpet in beige dresses.

Sheer Vibes

Sheer dresses were also having a moment, and Jennifer Lopez, Doja Cat, Elle Fanning, and Janelle Monáe were some of the celebrities putting this trend on the map.

Make it Shine

Sparkles, sequins, and metalics were ruling the red carpet at the Met Gala. Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Lopez, Rachel Zegler, Kim Kardashian, Keke Palmer, and Sarah Jessica Parker dazzled us with their fashion choices.

Gothic Glamour

Gothic glamour was all the rage at this year’s Met Gala, and we can thank Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Kendall Jenner, Zendaya, and Bad Bunny for making us fall in love with it.
