In a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the legendary musician Cher made an exciting revelation that has sent ripples of anticipation through her fan base: she’s writing a memoir. However, it seems the journey to penning her life’s tales hasn’t been without its challenges.

The iconic singer, now 77, candidly admitted to Fallon that the memoir’s creation hasn’t been a smooth ride. “I just totally chickened out,” she confessed, acknowledging the discomfort in sharing certain aspects of her life but acknowledging their necessity in her upcoming book. “They’re not comfortable, but they need to be put in, so I have to go back and man up.”

While the memoir’s title remains a work in progress, Cher humorously alluded to its scope, saying, “I’ve lived too long and done too much and so it’s like it should be the encyclopedia.” Her tongue-in-cheek remark about the encyclopedia drew laughter.

During the interview, Cher also discussed her recent foray into creating her first Christmas album, Christmas: The singer shared her hesitation, admitting, “I couldn’t see myself in a Christmas album.” However, the project gained momentum.

With a memoir and her unexpected venture into a Christmas album, Cher is keeping us on our toes and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
