If you’re a makeup fanatic—or just a fan of the Kardashian-Jenner clan—you might have heard that Kylie Jenner made a big, new announcement last week: her cosmetics brand, Kylie Cosmetics, is releasing lip kits.
Yep, you heard that right and, no, it’s not 2015 and you’re not having deja vu. The lip kits are getting a revamp as Jenner’s cosmetics company is going back to basics with the first product they ever launched.
According to Jenner’s Instagram post, the new lip kits are going to be smudge-resistant, vegan, lightweight, and able to offer eight hours of wear. Plus, the packaging is revamped, now in a light pink color to match the products in Kylie Skin, Jenner’s skincare line that was unveiled in 2019.
The exact release date of the new lip kits is still under wraps, so if you’re looking forward to trying it out yourself, you’ll have to keep an eye out in order to stay up to date. After all, when Jenner launched her first lip kits in 2015, they did sell out in less than a minute.
Will Jenner be able to replicate the same success that the lip kits first did, six years after the fact? Only time will tell, but one thing is clear: she’ll definitely try to.
