Paramore’s Hayley Williams has announced that she will be putting out new solo music in 2020.

The Paramore frontwoman celebrated her 31st birthday earlier this week. She thanked fans for her birthday wishes in a post on Twitter. She wrote: “Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. 30 was a very important year. 31 will be too.”

She shared the message in the form of a Whatsapp screenshot. Beneath her thank you, she wrote the following message, which she then crossed out.

“I’m putting out some music next year,” she wrote. “With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own.”

It’s unclear why Hayley posted the message only to cross it out. Either way, fans are already getting psyched for the new releases and have started speculating over what this “special project” could be.

“IM HYPERVENTILATING,” one fan responded. Another wrote: “Whatever it is, be it Paramore related or not, I am all here for it and I am ecstatic at the fact that you’re inspired to make music again. Thank you for existing.”

More details to be revealed when they are announced.
