“Rainbow Teeth” is the Worst Beauty Trend We’ve Ever Seen

Would you ever put nail polish on your teeth? Why would anyone do that, right?

We’re constantly seeing new, weird beauty trends that mostly emerge on Instagram. Some of them die fast, while others get a few months of life. How will the rainbow teeth trend do?

The principle is the same as in nail polish – you color your teeth with a color of choice for a temporary beautifying effect. The idea came from David Silverstein, founder of Chrom temporary tooth polish. We see this becoming commonplace — everything from a club vibe to an everyday workplace fashion accent,” he says. “Perhaps you go to work with one tooth [that] matches your nail polish or your hair color.”

Chrom is apparently completely safe and even stays on after meals and drinks. You simply remove it with a toothbrush and toothpaste at the end of the day. It won’t stain your teeth and it’s compliant with the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act in the US.
