]]>If you enjoy TV shows with a self-contained storyline, you probably have a special place in your heart for mini-series. Netflix has quite a few in store this fall, and here are three that got everyone talking.
Mike Flanagan gave us some of Netflix’s best horror shows with The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, and he’s showing no signs of stopping. Midnight Mass takes place in an isolated island community, which starts witnessing miraculous events after the arrival of a mysterious young priest.
Maid centers around a young single mom who finds a job cleaning houses as she struggles to provide for her child after escaping an abusive relationship. The series was met with positive reception since its premiere, and its lead Margaret Qualley is getting some of the best reviews of her career for her powerhouse performance.
It’s been over a month since Clickbait came out, but it’s still making waves. It centers on the Brewer family, whose life is turned upside down after the family patriarch Nick goes missing after appearing in a viral video that says he will die if the clip reaches five million views.

]]>Clickbait, Netflix’s newest show, has quickly become its most popular, and people just can’t stop talking about it. So what is it about Clickbait that’s doing such a good job of capturing the international audience’s attention and interest? Let’s talk about it.
More than anything else, Clickbait viewers are talking about the series’ twists, with each episode pointing to a new culprit as the potential killer until the shocking ending where the truth is revealed.
As Roxana Hadadi wrote in her review of Clickbait for RogerEbert.com, “Clickbait is a reminder of why Netflix series became such hits in the first place. A cast of recognizable, serviceable actors dive with melodrama and zeal into a narrative that… moves at a breakneck pace, ends on cliffhangers like clockwork, and incorporates just enough zigs and zags to keep viewers guessing… ‘Clickbait’ grabs you, whizzes you along, and leaves you feeling satisfied… It’s not sophisticated, but it is highly bingeable.”
Netflix has perfected the binge TV formula and Clickbait is a perfect example, with each episode ending on the exact kind of cliffhanger that makes you feel like you have to see the next until—boom!—you’ve watched the whole season.
