]]>After a lot of anticipation, Coachella returned to the desert this weekend and set the tone for the rest of the festival season. If you’re not sure what to wear to your favorite festival this summer, here are some of the biggest trends everyone in Hollywood was wearing at Coachella.
Cowgirl Vibes
Cowgirl aesthetic was the fashion staple of Coachella, and our favorite celebrities can’t resist channeling their inner cowgirls every time they had to the desert. Cowboy boots and hats were all the rage at this year’s festival, and we’ve seen several celebrities put a disco twist on this trend, such as Alessandra Ambrosio and Becky G.
Denim on Denim
If we had to pick a leading fashion craze of this year’s Coachella, the controversial denim-on-denim trend would make the cut. Everyone from performers, such as Kali Uchis, to celebrity attendees from Suki Waterhouse and Camila Morrone was wearing double denim this year.
Crochet Bonanza
Crocheted outfits experienced a boom in recent years, and celebrities at Coachella made them look fun. Forget old-fashion sweaters and vests, this year’s Coachella was all about sheer crochet dresses and sensual crop tops, and Madison Bailey, Sarah Sampaio, and Kelsey Merrit were among the celebrities wearing them.

]]>Last year’s music festival season was pretty much non-existent due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and many music lovers held onto the hope they’re going to attend their favorite festivals in 2021. The future of this year’s spring and summer festival season now lingers in the air, as several major festivals announced their cancelation.
Most recently, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, scheduled to take place this April has been put on hold, together with the Stagecoach Country Music Festival. This is the third time over the course of 12 months that these festivals have been put on hold, and it’s unclear if there’s a possibility they’ll return later this year.
Coachella isn’t the first world-famous festival to be canceled in the past few weeks. The same goes for Glastonbury Festival, Britain’s largest pop event. This legendary festival marked its 50th-anniversary last year, without a live event due to its cancelation.
Since Glastonbury and Coachella happen to be two of the biggest festivals in Europe and the US, could they set the tone for the rest of the festival season? Some other festivals are still preparing to go ahead because they require much less preparation than these two, but their cancelation sent shock waves through the music community and left us doubting the future of other similar events.

]]>The festival season is starting with Coachella this month, so we’re about to see a number of new funky trends all over social media, primarily Instagram. The first one is here, and it’s crazier than we expected – let’s welcome braided bangs.
It reminds us a lot of the ’80s and ’90s, but with a twist. In 2018, braids will be more colorful than ever, thanks to the merge with the rainbow hair trend we’ve been seeing everywhere for the past few years.

]]>On April 13th, Mason Ramsey aka the “yodelling kid” made a surprise appearance at Coachella 2018.
The eleven year old from Golconda, Illinois became a viral sensation after he performed his yodelling rendition of Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” in a local Walmart. The video received over 16 million views on Youtube and it travelled rapidly across social media.
Fans of the adorable eleven year old yodler were ecstatic to learn that he would be taking to the stage at Coachella and his performance was met by a roar of cheers.
“From Walmart to Coachella, I see you yodel boy,” one fan tweeted from the crowd. Another said: “the yodel kid performed at coachella, my life is complete”.
