On April 13th, Mason Ramsey aka the “yodelling kid” made a surprise appearance at Coachella 2018.
The eleven year old from Golconda, Illinois became a viral sensation after he performed his yodelling rendition of Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” in a local Walmart. The video received over 16 million views on Youtube and it travelled rapidly across social media.
Fans of the adorable eleven year old yodler were ecstatic to learn that he would be taking to the stage at Coachella and his performance was met by a roar of cheers.
“From Walmart to Coachella, I see you yodel boy,” one fan tweeted from the crowd. Another said: “the yodel kid performed at coachella, my life is complete”.

This week, Mason also appeared on Ellen for a college scholarship from Walmart. He is also due to perform at the Grand Ole Opry – not bad for an eleven year old kid still in school. His fan base are waiting for an album!
