]]>When it comes to shoes, we can’t think of one that’s as divided as Crocs. Sure, they’re functional and comfortable, but they’re not exactly fashionable. Just when we thought the popularity of Crocs was way behind us, they’ve become trendy again. We bet you’re wondering how on earth that could happen.
The clog brand has become hip again with collaborations. Crocs has tapped rappers, actresses, models, and social media influencers to hype up the brand. The first one was Post Malone in 2018 and the collab looked pretty much exactly like the original Crocs but with barb wire graphics and Post Malone-inspired Jibbitz (the charms that poke through the holes). Justin Bieber is the latest star to design Crocs and it’s the second time he’s collaborated with the brand.
Bieber even gifted a pair to Victoria Beckham and she shared on Instagram that she “would rather die” than wear them.
It’s not just Post Malone and Bieber who’ve collaborated with Crocs—Chinatown Market, KFC, Balenciaga, and Bad Bunny have also done collaborations.
But really is the return of Crocs that surprising in a year that’s been all about comfort with sweatpants, pajamas, and house dresses become the new normal? What do you think of Crocs?

But as much as the idea of platform crocs was initially hated by the public and the press, Balenciaga apparently knew what they are doing. As soon as the shoes became available for purchase on their website, the collection immediately sold out. Numerous fans found them chic and unique, so they didn’t hesitate to pay what’s needed to own one pair.
The shoes are currently available on their site, if anyone is wondering. They were initially available in hot pink and dark tan colors, but there’s also a black option now. The variety of jibbitz you can attach to them makes them completely customizable to personal style.
