]]>As New Year’s Eve rapidly approaches, many of us are starting to sort our party outfits to see in the new year. If you haven’t quite decided on what to wear yet, there’s still time to pick up one of these on-trend styles. New Year’s Eve is a great excuse to go all-out in terms of high-octane glamor, so don’t shy away from sequins, feathers, and the diamanté trim.
Strapless dresses have been big news throughout 2023, and there’s no sign of this trend dying down at the end of the year. Offering the opportunity to show off your décolletage as well as your arms, pair a simple strapless dress with some serious sparkle to make an entrance wherever you go.
Midi dresses offer versatility and style, as you can dance the night away without worrying that you’re going to trip over your dress or have it ride up. They have also been big news throughout 2023 and will continue to be so in 2024. Opt for a gorgeous silk slip style to avoid any suggestions that a midi length is unexciting.
Throughout 2023, dress designers have made statements through the shoulders and sleeves of their dresses. Shoulders have been raised whilst sleeves have been puffy and dramatic. There’s something very elegant about a puffed sleeve, especially when you’re holding a glass of celebratory champagne in one hand.

]]>In 2020, dresses stayed in the back of our closets as we didn’t have occasions for wearing them. But in 2021, brighter times are ahead and it’s time to let your dresses see the light of day. This year, we’ll see some classics mixed in with fresh silhouettes and retro styles. Here are the five dress trends to style this year.
One of the most subtle, but sensual ways to show skin is with bare backs. Whether you want something slinky or oversized, there a bare back dress that fits in with every style.
Sweater dresses are no longer basic—right now, they feature cutouts and cold shoulders. But don’t worry, they’re still super cozy.
Printed mesh is super ’90s and we can’t seem to get enough of it. Pair it with some chunky combat boots for a retro look.
Strong shoulders have been going strong for a while now and they make for a bold, chic look.
Everyone needs a simple, black dress in their closet and column dresses in neutral were a huge hit on the Spring 2021 runways.

]]>Every summer, there seems to be a dress that takes over our Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, and this summer, it happens to be “The Strawberry Dress” by Lirika Matoshi. The tea dress costs $490 and it’s the perfect dress for any girly girl—it’s made of pink tulle, with a deep V-neckline, ruffles along the hem, a cinched waist, and red sequin strawberry embellishments.
In fact the dress has even become a viral hit with memes, tweets, and videos of people making knockoffs of the dress.
The dress was designed by Matoshi in July 2019 and as soon as she posted it on Instagram, it became a huge hit. Back in January, model Tess Holliday wore a custom version of it to the Grammy and she referred to the look as “If Strawberry Shortcake & Lana Del Rey had a baby.”
Matoshi didn’t expect the dress sales to go up during the pandemic and the dress is currently the best selling dress in the collection. There’s even a coordinating face mask!
“Most of the people who buy the dress right now, they don’t know where they’re going to wear it but like to wear it at home,” Matoshi said. “I wouldn’t know where to wear it. I haven’t worn a dress since the beginning of the pandemic,” she added.
One of the best things about the dress is that it’s available up to a size 20, which isn’t the case for most designer brands. The dress also fits in perfectly with the cottagecore trends that’s been having a major moment during the pandemic.

]]>One of our favorite parts of summer is wearing flowy, breezy dresses. They’re comfortable, stylish, and easy to wear in the heat. This year, there are lots of dress trends including open backs, milkmaid style silhouettes, and puffy sleeves. So, what brands are fashionistas wearing? These are the five brands we’re seeing all over our social media feeds.
The vintage-inspired silhouettes and pretty pastels set this brand apart from other brands. Even Kate Middleton has been seen wearing the brand’s floral Marie-Louise dress.
We love a brand that’s affordable and up to date on the latest trend. These dresses only look expensive and we’re loving the attention to details like puff sleeves and shirred fabrics.
These linen loungewear dresses are comfy enough for wear at home looks and they tie in perfectly with the season’s cottegecore trend.
This retailer is known for their relatively affordable price tags that come along with luxurious pieces. Their open back dresses with puffy sleeves are a favorite among Instagrammers.
These girly dresses are not only stunning, they’re made ethically with sustainable practices, which is why they’ve become a favorite among influencers.

Leather isn’t just for winter and by choosing leather in bright colors, you’re summer-ready.
This 90s inspired print pairs perfectly with a mesh mini dress. All that’s left is some butterfly hair clips!
The official color of summer reminds us of basking in the sun. Yellow just makes us instantly happy.
This airy dress is a go-to for hot summer days when you can’t bother putting anything tight on your body.
