]]>One Day created more buzz than any Netflix series in recent months, and we’re still not over Emma and Dexter’s amazing love story. If you’re in the mood to check out more series about amazing romances transcending time and space, it’s time to add these five to your watch list!
One Day most likely left you in a puddle of tears, and Normal People will do the same. Marianne and Connell went through many ups and downs in the adaptation of Sally Rooney’s hit novel and managed to find their way back to each other throughout it all.
If you’re a sucker for slow-burn romance, make sure to check out the British series Lovesick. It centers on Dylan, a hopeless romantic who must contact all his past lovers after being diagnosed with an STD.
Based on The New York Times’ hit weekly column, this anthology series explored love in its multitude of forms by centering on a group of diverse characters trying to find love in New York City.
Unlike One Day, This Is Us centered on not one but many different couples over its run, and it sees their relationships evolve over several timelines.
Another recently released show that’s strikingly similar to One Day, this series stars Andrea Riseborough and Domhnall Gleeson as two imperfect people being brought together by faith, time and time again, over 16 years.

Zendaya had some pretty tough competition in the race for outstanding lead actress in a drama series. She managed to score the nomination over the likes of Nicole Kidman and Elisabeth Moss with her performance in Euphoria.
The first season of Big Little Lies was a huge hit with Emmy voters, but Laura Dern and Meryl Streep were the only stars of this show who managed to score nominations this year.
The outstanding comedy series nominations list featured some obvious choices and several wild cards, but a nod for the vampire comedy What We Do in the Shadows was something that no one saw coming.
