Jane Campion’s latest film premiered to rave reviews in Venice, and it sees Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, and Jesse Plemons deliver performances of a lifetime. It centers on a charismatic rancher, whose life turns upside down after his brother comes home with a new wife and her son.
A strong contender for Italy’s best international feature Oscar, Paolo Sorrentino’s latest feature also premiered to rave reviews in Venice. It’s been described as “a tale of fate and family, sports and cinema, love and loss” set against the backdrop of Naples during the 80s.
