]]>While we’re used to seeing red hair in the fall and winter, this year, we’re seeing lots of celebrities go red in the summer. It’s daring and bold and we’re loving it. Some stars are trying the color for the first time and they’re looking absolutely amazing. So instead of going blonde this season, why not get a little inspiration from these celebrities? Here are five of our favorite redheads.
We’re used to seeing the Pretty Little Liars star blonde, but this week she went darker with this stunning red color. She even captioned the photo, “Always wanted to be a redhead.”
We got a sneak peek at Dua Lipa’s latest Versace campaign and red really suits the “Levitating” singer. Believe it or not, she actually dyed her hair for the shoot instead of wearing a wig.
Rumer Willis’ new hair looks absolutely stunning and it was inspired by famous redheads including Susan Sarandon in The Witches of Eastwick and Thelma & Louise and Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
Ciara started off summer with a new hairstyle and color. This rusty-red is a bit more toned down and wearable than other shades.
Model Gigi Hadid has changed her hair color over the years, but she typically sticks to brown and blonde. This fiery red shade is really striking against her eyes.

]]>This year has given us more hair color trends than we can count, and another major craze is currently emerging on the Instagram feeds of our favorite stars. They’re ending the year on a high note with daring and bold red ruby shade.
Jenner spent most of 2020 experimenting with chunky highlights, light brown, and honey blonde shades, but decided to end the year with the bang with a daring red ruby hairdo.
Jenner is only the latest in the long line of celebrities who can’t get enough of this hair color. Bebe Rexha has been rocking it for the past few months, and she’s showing no signs of stopping.
Lizzo recently went back to a more natural brown dye, but for one glorious moment this fall, ruby red has also been her hair color of choice.
Megan Thee Stallion is best known for her long, straight, dark hair, but she enjoys experimenting with all sorts of different wigs and ruby red was one of the colors that she couldn’t resist.
The Oscar-nominated star recently made a cameo in Stallion’s music video for the viral hit “Body”. They both had similar red hair color in this video, and Henson has been wearing it ever since.

]]>During the pandemic, many influencers, celebrities, and us common people have taken the opportunity to get bold with our hair color. One of the biggest hair trends to emerge from the quarantine is ’90s-inspired, chunky lava streaks.
Devon Carlson and Bella Hadid have stepped out in the fiery-red two-toned hair look. Carlson cited her inspiration as Christina Aguilera, sharing a photo of the singer in her “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)” music video. Hadid’s take on the look was with clip-in red extensions, which looked just like the ones she wore for Versace’s Fall 2017 show.
London salon Bleach London, reports seeing a major increase in demand for the color since lockdown began. “[Streaks] are one of my favorite looks to create, and they’re so simple,” Alex Brownsell, Bleach London’s cofounder and creative director told Vogue. “The application process is obviously very quick and the maintenance is even speedier as there isn’t much root to touch up.”
Red hair color is one of the hardest to achieve and to maintain high saturation, so taking a striped approach is easier to pill off and better for your hair’s health.
If you’re wanting to switch things up for fall and want to try something bold, consider some thick red streaks.
