And now we get the news that DeGeneres has decided that her talk show’s upcoming 19th season will be its last. Yet she did not acknowledge the accusations against her in this announcement, explaining her reasoning instead as the show no longer being challenging enough for her.

Whatever the truth may be of what has gone on and continues to go on behind the scenes of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, one thing is for sure: the daytime TV landscape will definitely look different without it, as it has been a mainstay since 2003, an impressive 18-year run.
