Fandom TV is experiencing a boom right now, with everyone from Disney+ to HBO giving us amazing fantasy and sci-fi series these days. Some of this year’s most anticipated TV shows are coming our way this month, offering new binge-watching adventures to fans of Marvel, Star Wars, and many more franchises with passionate fan bases.

The Sandman (Netflix, August 5)

Fans of Neil Gaiman’s beloved comic book series spent three decades waiting for its adaptation. Their wait is finally over, and Netflix’s retelling of the Dream’s journey to restore order to his realm after expecting imprisonment has been met with positive reviews.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (Disney+, August 17)

Disney+ has given us many amazing Marvel shows since its launch and we’re hoping that the story of Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters will be one of them.

House of the Dragon (HBO, August 21)

HBO has been plotting a long list of Game of Thrones spinoffs since the original series came to an end. House of the Dragon is the first one in line and it shows the rise and fall of the House Targaryen.

Andor (Disney+, August 31)

Just like MCU fans, Star Wars aficionados have a few new Disney+ shows to look forward to every year. This one focuses on the daring rebel Cassian Andor, whom we got to meet in Rogue One.
