Virtual escape rooms are filled with hidden clues and challenging puzzles and they’re a great way to connect with your friends and family while using your problem-solving skills. If you can’t visit an escape room in-person this Halloween or if they’re closed due to the pandemic, virtual escape rooms are the next best thing.
Virtual escape rooms give you the same experience you’d have in a physical escape room, but in an online format. You’ll communicate in teams via Zoom or another video conferencing platform while exploring the room that’s being streamed by a live camera feed from the physical escape room or by searching 360 images.
Some escape rooms to try out include The Grimm Escape by Puzzle Book, which takes place in a dark forest and gives you an hour to break an evil witch’s spell or if you’re a Harry Potter fan, you have to try out The Hogwart’s Digital Escape Room, which is inspired by the world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
